Ixanos Scout is a solution designed to simplify the process of inventory stock-taking. It leverages a mobile device with built-in barcode scanner then displays to the stock taker a list of inventory that must be counted. Scout interfaces directly with the inventory database from the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) to pull item descriptions and store quantities.

Scout consists of two main components:

1. A web application for managing Inventory Work Orders.
2. An android application for electronic stock taking.
